SmartpondFilter Version S (gravitational)

The gravitational version is positioned next to the pond and extends beyond it by only 8 cm!
With this version, the pond water flows directly into the Smartpond filter from the deepest point (or several points) in the pond through large diameter pipes. While water passes through the fleece, particles up to the thousandth part are retained and removed from water circulation. This removal reduces the nitrate content in your pond significantly. Accordingly, algae growth is reduced to a high extent.
The mechanically cleaned water now drips into the lower half of the gravity trough. During this process, the water is aerated and also ensures that the biomass underneath constantly remains in motion. The biochamber is filled with bioconverter plus up to maximum half of the volume. There undesired toxins dissolved in water such as ammonia and nitrite are decomposed through oxidation with oxygen or transformed into nitrate. From the biozone the treated water is pumped back into the pond.

SmartpondFilter Version G (pumped)

The pumped version is installed above the pond.
The pump type is ideal for koi and swimming pond owners who have installed a pump directly in the pond, or in a collection duct, and pumps the soiled water into the fleece filter. While water passes through the fleece, particles up to the thousandth part are retained and removed from water circulation. This removal reduces the nitrate content in your pond significantly.
